AMD Radeon RX 9070, RX 9070 XT and NVIDIA 50xx-series GPUS added.

March 2025: AMD and NVIDIA have launched their latest high-performance graphics cards, with the Radeon RX 9070 series and NVIDIA's 50xx-series now officially available. However, early adopters may face steep price markups, as limited supply has led to significant price inflation above the manufacturers' suggested retail prices.

So far the following 50-series consumer GPUs from NVIDIA have been released this year:

  • 5070 - this is the most recently released model on the 4th of March.
  • 5070 Ti
  • 5080
  • 5090

Prices are still much higher than recommended retail prices for those models. We would recommend waiting for supply to catch up with demand and prices to come down to below retail prices. For example the 5070 with 12GB of GDDR7 RAM was launched at US $549, but is available from $849 to $900 depending on the seller.

AMD has released the Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU and RX 9070, on March 6 2025.

The RX 9070 is available from $1,098.98, which is double the launch price of US $549. The launch price of the 9070 XT, meanwhile is US $599 and it is available to purchase from US $1199, which, again is double the launch/recommended retail price.

The latest AMD and NVIDIA cards, are all still in short supply and sellers are gouging customers to make a profit on the small numbers that they have available. It may take months for prices to reduce nearer to retail prices.
